Drive slower. The faster you drive the more gas your car uses.


Save used soap for your laundry room.

Buy cleaning supplies at the dollar store.

Unplug electrical items that aren't being used.

Use less cordless phones in the house. Each cordless phone costs $4.00/month in electricity according to an energy specialist from the electric company.

Flush toilet only if you're doing a #2.

Eat all your meals at home or brown bag it when you're away.

Go to any free music concerts.

Saving tips

Get your fruits and vegetables from the dollar store.

Use the library instead of subscribing to newspapers and magazines.

Buy used cds or dvds at the record store. Better yet listen to the radio.

Take 5 minute showers to save water. Good for the environment.

Bicycle or use public transportation.

Recycle cans and bottles.

Turn your A/C to the highest temperature that you are comfortable with. If its cool at night you can turn off the A/C open the windows and sliding glass doors then close in the morning.
