Wrapping Paper - Frugal Tip

by Erica

I tend to use old helium balloons for wrapping paper. I take the air out the balloon and cut it along the seems and use it to wrap small gifts. Looks like beautiful foil wrapping paper!

Great Idea, I have always thought those balloons were a little wasteful but at least with your idea it gets a second life and use too. :)

I like to save any wrapping paper i receive anyway as i just can't bear throwing it away when i know it costs so much to buy. i can honestly say that i don't think i have bought any new sheets of wrapping paper for some time now.

Free Printer Paper - A Frugal Tip

If you keep an eye out, you will see and get fliers that are printed on good paper. These fliers are only printed on one side. So, you can use it in your home printer, by printing on the blank side.

Use it for printing things just for your everyday use. This can save you a lot (this paper is free), while saving the "regular" printing stock for important copies.

re-using paper

Any misprinted paper that comes out of my printer gets cut up into 4 large squares and re-used as scrap paper (the back) to make lists, take notes, etc. I don't buy post-its any more and when I use up the scrap paper, I put it in the recycling bin.
