price matching and price adjusting . I joined a website called www.GoEyeball.com
I've been looking for a website like this for a while now as most "saving" websites dictates the items that are on sale. The site basically helps me to monitor whatever item I am interested in buying which is not currently on sale but once it does go on sale, an email notification is sent to me. I'm also allowed to set the price that I am willing to pay for the item. Great thing is I set more than one monitor at a few stores that carry the same items and I have been able to price match. Of course at a store that allows for price matching like BestBuy. You will have to check store policies.
I haven't had a chance to price adjust yet, as I am usually just buying things on sale. But they give a tip on the website to suggest if you have purchased something not on sale, you can easily create a price monitor and have it notify you if the price drops. so if it is still within your return or priced adjusting time then there you go, you can go back and get some money back.
I have to say, the other thing the site has helped me with it, compulsive buying. I make my list of price monitors but because things are not on sale right away, over some time (at least for me), i will kind of look at the item and say, "i don't think i actually need that).
They have a tutorial on the page to teach you how to use the site. You can see if you can do it yourself first without the tutorial. But I found the tutorial a great help.
