Knowing the difference between Cheap & Frugal

I used to think frugal and cheap meant the same thing. I was so scared when I would see people be skinflints when parting their dollars. Some of them would insist on having just about everything given to them for free even though they had the money.

I later learned that frugal people want the most for their money and did not feel bad about spending their money when necessary. I knew I wanted to be that person. I had struggled with money for a long time and it was time to let it go.

Now I am proud to be a frugalista (I love fashion! :--) ). I found this site via google and glad I did. After being clear about why I wanted to be frugal, the windows of frugalism opened up.

Frugal Food Consumption

Being frugal when it comes to food consumption I think also allows people to make healthier food purchase decisions. Spend money on healthier food, you will find it will save you a lot of dollars in the long term.

To get out of debt, concentrate on abundance because what you put your focus on grows. Get back to those feelings of feeling FREE! when you had no debt. There seems to be a need within you to accumulate debt. Anytime one is not worthy or deserving of having money they 'create' money problems. We are all co-creators of our experience (whether we want to accept it or not).

I too have had problems with money at times. I am always looking for ways to cut down and save money.

I am currently in debt. I am trying to climb out of it. There was a time when I did not have any debt I felt SOOO FREE!!
I am working to get it back.
However, I do like nice things. I no longer spend as much and have not in close to 12 years. I enjoyed your article. I love the term furgalista!!!
