I use branches from tree to hold up my tomatoes. There were alot of fallen tree branches in my neighborhood, so I decided to use them. They work great!
Comment from Kate Good suggestion, those canes that you buy from the gardening shops can be quite expensive for what they are. I would think that the tree branches would look nicer as well. more natural and rustic.
