For the strawberry sauce:

In a large bowl, beat the eggs for 1 minute. Add the sugar and beat until blended. Stir in the milk and vanilla. Pour the mixture into the kalabasa. Place the kalabasa with the custard in the steamer until it sets, about one and one-half hours. Remove from the steamer, cool, refrigerate for 2 hours, and serve.
Slice the kalabasa with custard and set aside.
For the strawberry sauce:
In a blender put the strawberries, put a little water and let it blend until it becomes smooth. Season to taste. If you like to put sugar on it.
Assemble:
In a dessert plate, put the slice kalabasa with custard in the middle then get a teaspoon scoop the strawberry sauce like a dot small to big at the side of the plate and then after that put the strawberry at the tip of the kalabasa. Serve. Enjoy!
