How To Earn Extra Income

We all need a little extra income from time to time even if you live a frugal lifestyle. After all frugal living is all about not wasting money and resources, so the more you have the more freedom it will give you to live the life you want.
Now we all know that earning extra money isn't that easy and for a lot of us it isn't always possible to go to work anyway. All you frugal mothers know exactly what I am talking about, and so do the disabled or elderly.
However there are always ways you can earn extra income if you put
your mind to it and if you are prepared to go the extra mile.
The first thing to remember is that it is unlikely that you will be able to earn great sums of money by doing a little work here and there.
However if all you require is enough to be able to put aside for a rainy day or to give yourself those extra little treats that you often deny yourself, then it will be worth it.
Of course the amount you can earn will be proportionate to the type of work and the effort and the amount of time you give it.
Some areas of work pay more than others and usually do require either at least a little financial investment from yourself or some form of experience or qualification. However none of this is insurmountable and if it is the type of work that you know you would enjoy, then there will always be some way for you to qualify for the work.
What sorts of work is available to earn some extra income from?
Practically every area of work and every day living will have an opportunity of one sort or another to earn some extra cash. It may just mean stepping back and taking a look at what you already own, what knowledge you have or what qualifications you have.
When adding my pages to this section I have tried to be very careful not to include what I call silly work suggestions or where you may fall foul or the law or scammers. When ever considering any type of extra work always do some checks your self and never take anyone's word for it.
There are many unscrupulous people out there that will promise the earth and end up taking you to the cleaners. Remember the golden rule "IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT PROBABLY IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE".
This section of the website will cover various areas of work where it is possible to generate some extra income for yourself. I have tried not to cover too many of the obvious areas and hope to give you some food for thought that may even help you to find other areas of possible earning potential. Here goes:
Exam Marking - Suitable for qualified teachers.
Medical Experiments - A students favourite but needs to be carefully considered.
Market Research - If you enjoy giving your opinion then this could be a good way to earn some extra cash.
Film Extras - If you have lots of free time and don't mind long periods of waiting around then this might be for you.
Teleworking - Working from home is becoming more popular amongst employers
Flat Pack Assembly - A good way to earn extra cash if you are good at putting togeather flat pack furniture.
CV & Letter writing - If you have secretarial skills and and a home computer this could be for you.
Renting A Room - if you have a spare room, why not rent it out and earn some cash.
Voice Overs - If you have a distinctive clear speaking Voice, this could be for you.
