Bookmarkers

We drink Lipton tea from tea bags. Included in the box are pieces of thin cardboard to separate the bags. I have the grandchildren decorate them with markers and stickers and everyone in the family has a personalized bookmarker!

Great idea Kandie, it can be a pain trying to find cheap things for the kids to do especially during the summer holidays. They seem to be bored all the time and everything costs so much.

If your kids are young enough then they really do enjoy doing crafts and painting etc and don’t really mind what they use. So cereal packets, egg box cartons and drinking straws can all be turned into great craft projects.

I like the book mark idea because it is so simple and could provide your kids with some extra pocket money or even raise money for your local school charity by selling them. Who doesn’t like to spend a little money on a piece of children’s art?
